Twenty years old, polyglot, sci-fi enthusiast, hobbyist programmer, author. Empowered to absolve tyranny through the pursuit of academia, by whatever means, shame or form, possible. I delight in poetry, dabble in music, and pontificate through prose. Currently based in Brighton, UK, alongside the seagulls, and my rather irritable feline, Louis de Pointe du Lac. My novel, and her subsequent siblings, belonging to the Knacklemarriott family, have been a constant obsession for nearly a decade. The framework of this novel was first constructed in 2017, in the aftermath of the Stoneman Parkland Douglas shooting, when I realised that my country valued the economical gain of ammunition purchases, over the lives of myself, and my countrymen. This anger would recede into hatred, and fester, in short blurbs scribbled into the margins of my robotics notebook, until the concept spiraled into reality in 2020. The first novel was written over a six month period, and most of these chapters were originally drafted on an Android phone, on the back of my father’s BMW motorcycle. This work has known almost every version of me, and has changed my life, and I hope it can be enough to acknowledge the worth of humanity, alongside the cost of war upon the children of the world, and to all of those who yearn to dream.
